Polar Bears are not native to Iceland, although they do very occasionally drift in on icebergs from the east coast of Greenland. Four years ago the first polar bear to swim to Iceland in 15 years was promptly shot dead by police. This doesn’t, of course, stop shops catering for the tourists…
